Criminal Law FAQs

Q: How do you charge for your services?

A: We make payment arrangements with clients depending upon your situation. We accept credit cards, checks and cash and will discuss estimated charges during the initial meeting.

Q. Will the information I tell the attorney remain confidential, even with your staff?

A. Yes. In the state of NC we are bound to keep confidential information private.

Q. What will happen during my first visit?

A. During your meeting, the attorney will take the time to understand your situation, your needs and your desired outcome.
Most initial visits take about an hour, but will take as long as needed to ensure all of your questions are answered and you understand your legal options.

Q. What do I bring to my first visit?

A. We find it helpful if you bring written questions to the meeting. Also, depending upon your legal matter, we might ask you to bring certain documents such as financial statements and legal documents. Most importantly, be prepared to talk honestly and completely about your situation. The more factual you are with your attorney, the better your representation.
